One piece of travel advice I always follow is to “be prepared for the unexpected”, especially when it comes to my health.
Since I have epilepsy, I make sure I have a list of my emergency contacts and doctors in my wallet or purse, along with my current medications and their dosages. I also keep a one- to two-week supply of medication in my purse and extra medication packed in my luggage, just in case something happens or my plans change.
Another thing I never travel without is a fully charged portable battery for my phone. You never know when an emergency might happen, and I want to make sure I can contact someone if I need help.
It might seem like a lot of extra preparation, but for me, it’s about having peace of mind and being able to enjoy my trip knowing I’ve taken steps to look after myself.
Sometimes, the best travel advice is simply to plan ahead and be prepared.

Sound advice. I’m the same with my medication. I can’t risk it. Subscribed!
