I’m creative in the way I make meaning out of things. I write to understand myself, to explore emotions that don’t always have clean edges, and to give voice to thoughts that feel too heavy or too quiet to keep inside. Creativity, for me, isn’t just about producing something—it’s about noticing, reflecting, and connecting ideas, stories, and feelings in ways that feel honest.
I’m also creative in how I blend influences. I pull from mythology, history, personal experience, and imagination, letting them overlap until something new emerges. Whether it’s poetry, storytelling, or reflective writing, I use creativity as a way to process the world and my place in it.
Most of all, I’m creative in my willingness to be vulnerable. I take emotional risks on the page, trusting that sincerity has value. Creating is how I stay open, curious, and human—even when it would be easier to shut down.
