Queen Nefertiti Cooling by the Nile: Egyptian Sunrise Poetry

A queen of beauty, poised on Egypt’s shore,
Where reed fans sway with rhythm slow and deep,
While Nefertiti watches dawn’s soft door
Open above the Nile as shadows creep.

The golden rays upon her features gleam,
Reflecting off her collar’s precious stones,
As servants work to keep their regal dream
Of comfort from the desert’s heated zones.

Each woven blade of reed creates a breeze
That dances through her dark and flowing hair,
A gentle whisper through the towering trees
That line the banks beyond her golden chair.

The sacred river mirrors morning’s fire,
As Egypt’s jewel cools in dawn’s desire.
